During this festive season, we traveled for an event that took almost a week in a far away place that accommodation was a challenge to us there. Ekiti Gov gives herdsmen 3 months to register Following the latest attack launched by suspected herdsmen in Ekiti State, Governor Ayo Fayose has given all herdsmen in the state a three-month ultimatum to register in their respective locations to identify them. They are to register with a sum of N5,000 each in a bid to know who should be held responsible in the event of any further attacks in the state. Fayose also vowed to hold the Sarkin Fulani (Head of Fulanis) in Ekiti State, Muhammad Abashe, personally responsible for any further attacks in his domain. The bizarre “coffin birth” has left some people crying witchcraft after a deceased 33-year-old mother of five‚ Nomveliso Nomasonto Mdoyi‚ of Mthayisi village near Mbizana in the Eastern Cape gave birth. This was discovered by funeral parlour staff 10 days after her death‚ on the eve of her funeral. Staff at the parlour in Mbizana‚ were left traumatised by the incident. Lindokuhle Funeral parlour owner Fundile Makalana said: "We were so shocked and frightened that we did not even have time to look at the sex of the baby.
