She is beautiful, elegant and charming- yet sassy, lecherous. With a banging body that can catch any man's eyes, she enjoys engaging in coitus for the viewing pleasure of all and sundry.
Her name is Elizabeth Ajibola Omotayo, a Nigerian porn actress, director and producer. Better known as Maami Igbagbo, she's ranked second in the Nigerian adult film industry by a well-known X-rated website.
In a video posted on her YouTube channel, the 24-year old Ekiti-born porn star, who once said that she has been patronised by many Nigerian music and movie stars, spoke about her educational background, family and her journey into the Nigerian pornography industry.
Based in Lekki, Lagos state, Omotayo started her career as one of the stooges of Kingtblak, a popular Nigerian adult film actor, before breaking away to pursue a solo career in the industry.
According to Omotayo who is not very fluent in the English language, she attended private primary and secondary schools. Her dream of getting a university education was, however, aborted when her mother, who was the sole bread winner of the family, passed on in 2016.
The porn actress, who avoided speaking about her father, said she had to shoulder her family's responsibilities as the first child of five children after her mother's demise.
"I am a young bread winner because after my mother passed on, I have been the one taking up the responsibilities of the family, including my aunties who are even married. If not for my mother's death, I would have finished school by now in a private university.
"After my mother's death, I started training as an auxiliary nurse. After some time, I stopped because there was no help, not even from my aunties. All they know is to come to my house and pack my hairs, creams and other things. They have never offered us help since my mother who used to support them financially died," she said.
After her mother's death, family members scrambled to share what was left of the properties of the deceased, leaving Elizabeth and her younger ones in dire penury.
Her effort to get a decent work was in futility as all the heads of the organisations she approached sought to sleep with her in exchange for the the jobs they would offer, according to her claims.
She said "a girl like me with my kind of body, I would have been going around sleeping with men by now because there is no one that can control me now after my mother's death. My mother was the only one that could control me. But I chose to go into porn instead."
Journey To The Porn Industry
With four younger ones to cater for, no job and no assistance from family members, Omotayo said she had to toe the path of the adult entertainment industry to survive.
Elizabeth, who claimed to have lost her virginity in 2016, went into pornography after realising that the only thing that could make way for her was her body. Consequently, she chose displaying her nude body on screen for a fee as opposed to sleeping around with men.
"I had told you; everybody wanted to f*ck me before they help me. I cannot share my glory to different men before getting married. I had to go into porn immediately. Even before going into porn, I didn't make myself too available to men," she recounted.
She further narrated how she met Kingtblak, her then boyfriend, who taught her the ropes in the pornography business.
She revealed that when her first video hit the public scenes, her friends made jest of her on social media, but, according to her, she paid no attention to them.
Family Reaction
Omotayo, who claimed to be very financially stable now, said that she had warned her family members never to give ear to people who may want to speak ill of her lifestyle.
"My family knows about what I'm doing. The only thing I tell them is that, if somebody talks about me to them, they should walk out on them. This is the only thing I'm doing to financially support my family; they should support me.
How she makes money
While expressing her disappointment that Nigerians do no support what she does, the porn star said she does not make her money from the country as Nigerians do no pay to view her content.
"Nigerians don't pay for my videos; they just download for free. Even commissioners have my videos in their phones. But foreigners pay me up to $1,000 to download my content. Sometimes they fly into the country and we will be in one of the biggest places and they will take very good care of me," she stated.
Elizabeth Ajibola makes a living as a porn actress by offering her videos for premium download and has an estimated net worth of $5,000 (N2,000,000).
Omotayo's story suggests that of a girl who never had a good parenting and sound religious up-bringing. Her alibi for going into a field that is remonstrated against by sane members of the public is very flimsy. There are lucrative trades to learn just as there are morally right businesses to start.
It then behove parents, the society and religious leaders to instill moral values in the younger ones that would guide them in the decisions they will make later in life.
Like Ajibola, many other young Nigerian girls have found adult film as an occupation. Without minding who sees, they video-tape themselves engaging in sexual activities and put same on the internet for porn users to download for a fee.
Pornography companies (names can't be mentioned) are springing up in Nigeria- aiming to overtake America's porn industry, but the government is silent on their regulation.
Pornography is against the Nigerian culture and values. Should it the be banned to stop its spread in the country? Should it be viewed as a source of economic growth and taxed? The ball is obviously in the government's court.
