  IKOT ABASI WINS 2024 AKWA IBOM STATE GOVERNOR'S CUP … Governor Umo Eno to receive first, second and third place teams on April 3 Ikot Abasi local government area will pocket a whopping sum of Five Million Naira (N5,000.000.00) for emerging the champions of the 2023/24 Akwa Ibom State Governor's Cup competition after beating favorites Uyo local government area 4-3 on penalties following a 1-1 draw in regulation time. The strongest player in the world, Adebayo Akinfenwa, has made a cheeky response to transfer rumours linking him with Premier League champions Chelsea in the January transfer window.
