Herdsmen sack A'Ibom Community  ° ° ° flouts Anti - grazing laws   Scores worried by incessant attack on farms by herdsmen despite the Anti - grazing laws undermining the efforts of Akwa Ibom State Governor to encourage people back to farming for food sufficiency,   distraught farmers in Ifa group of six villages, Uyo  local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State yesterday protested over the invasion of their farms by herdsmen.   APC Defends Akpabio Over Budget Padding The All Progressives Congress has come out to defend the embattled president of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio over the raging issue of padding of the 2024 budget of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.  The Senate padded the budget with a sum of three trillion naira to the chagrin of citizens of the country, who expressed their displeasure over the attitude of the lawmakers to the suffering of the people of the country.  Opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party has asked the Senate President to resign over the matter. The publicity secretary of the party, Debo Ologunagba challenged Godswill Akpabio to resign and allow an independent probe into the matter.  However, the All Progressives Congress countered the approach of the PDP to the matter. APC National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, argued that there is no unusual thing in what Akpabio did and that there is no need to involve the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission into the issue.

  Business Mogul and Billionaire Industrialist, Prince Arthur Eze, Tuesday expressed shock at the high level of industrialization under the Governor Ben Ayade-led administration in Cross River State. Malabu Oil scam: UK court repatriates $73m to FG *We’ve deposited cash with CBN —Malami *FG signs new pacts with 6 countries to block looting of funds Although the Nigerian Government is yet to prosecute and convict many individuals and entities involved in the alleged monumental fraud running into billions of Naira in the controversial Oil Prospecting Lease 245, the United Kingdom has returned the sum of $73 million seized in connection with the fraud to the Nigerian Government.However, the name of the individual or the company the cash was recovered from  has not been named at the moment, even as  the money has been received in Nigeria.
