Today marks a new beginning, it is an era of hope, optimism and new possibilities. We will synergize with all facet of government to build a stable, sustainable and prosperous future for our constituency.

Elections are the crux of our democracy and together we have made history in the narrative of Essien Udim Local Government Area. I salute the resoluteness and tenacity of thousands who voted in the just concluded court ordered rerun election to give us the landslide victory. Indeed, this is a vote to bring the completion agenda train to Essien Udim, it is a vote for liberation from the claws of ineffective representation.

We are grateful that against all odds we have emerged victorious through the authority of the electorates but we also look to win the challenge of rejuvenation of lives, effective advocacy, and peaceful coexistence. It is our wish to create an environment that allows initiative, enterprise and hard work to thrive, as we look to create new opportunities in agriculture, manufacturing and other long-neglected sectors.

I thank you all for your unflinching support and I pledge to repay this confidence with good leadership and representation.
