2027: Prophet Ekong Ituen Warns Governors, Candidates of Wike’s Political Offensive

As political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections, Prophet Ekong Ituen has issued a strong warning to political leaders and governorship candidates in parts of the South-East and South-South, urging them not to underestimate what he described as the emerging political offensive of Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike.

Ituen specifically mentioned Governor Peter Mbah of Enugu State, Governor Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State, the governorship candidate backed by Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, as well as the APC governorship candidate in Imo State.

According to the prophet, the political battle ahead could be intense, unpredictable and capable of producing painful surprises for those who fail to prepare adequately.

He claimed that Wike would deploy his political influence and machinery in an effort to secure victory for PDP governorship candidates in the affected states, either through the ballot box or through legal battles that could follow the elections.

“Those involved need serious prayer and divine intervention to overcome the political onslaught,” Ituen warned.

He advised the governors and candidates to seek spiritual guidance from a “true prophet” of their choice, stressing that his warning was intended to draw their attention to what he described as a divine revelation concerning their political future.

“I advise them to align with a true Prophet of their choice to avert political humiliation because God has a word for them,” he said.

‘I Saw the Rebirth of PDP’

Speaking further, Prophet Ituen said he foresaw the eventual resurgence of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, despite the political challenges and internal crises currently confronting the opposition party.

“In my revelation, I saw the rebirth of PDP in the future. The party will spring forth, as many that left will return,” he declared.

He urged PDP members and supporters not to lose hope, maintaining that the party’s present difficulties should not be interpreted as the end of its political journey.

Ituen called on party faithful to remain focused, committed and loyal, insisting that a new chapter could still emerge for the PDP.

“There is hope,” he said.

With Nigeria’s political landscape already witnessing fresh alliances, defections and behind-the-scenes calculations ahead of 2027, Ituen’s declaration is likely to generate conversations within political circles, particularly among supporters of the governors and candidates he named.

Whether the prophecy becomes reality, however, remains a matter for the unfolding political season and, ultimately, the electorate.
