Prophet Ekong Ituen has raised fresh concerns over the Federal Government’s counter-terrorism efforts, warning that alleged infiltration of insurgent sympathisers within President Bola Tinubu’s administration could undermine the ongoing fight against terrorism. In a statement issued on December 8, 2025, the cleric said President Tinubu is committed to combating terrorism but may have unknowingly placed trust in individuals who do not support his mission.
