Uyo, Akwa Ibom S tate capital came alive last weekend amid fan fare and pageantry entry of the National Chairman of African Democratic Congress, ADC, Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu and his entourage to received by Arc. Ezekiel Nya-Etok; Mr. Utip Etiebet, state chairman of ADC among other members of National and State Working Committee of the party welcome him.



Speaking at the event, the ADC National Chairman, Chief Ralph Okey Nwosu said ADC is the credible alternative to salvage Nigeria from the shackles of insecurities ranges from terrorist attacks, banditry, herdmen and farmers clash  that spilled blood in various parts of the country, youths unemployment amoni others.

According to Nwosu, "ADC is the credible alternative, a newness to Nigeria. If we don't have newness we are in doom. ADC is all about discipline and it's designing on two key approach like cultural reorientation and pack to take over power come 2023. A new dedicated leaders and projects to better lives of Nigerians. Let no one reduce you to thugs."


 "This narrative must be change. Local Government autonomy must be implemented to the later. Local government election must be hold in a transparent manner. Youths take over," Nwosu stressed.

He lamented how impunity has taken over the system before any Nigerian leaders leave office must install a successor. 

The State Chairman of ADC, Hon. Utip Etiebet welcome the national chairman of the party and his entourage to the state.

He described Arc. Ezekiel Nya-Etok as a big catch adding that, Nya-Etok decision to join ADC is for the best interest of Akwa Ibom youths as there will be a paradigm shift and human capital development will be visible when they seize power come 2023.

Arc. Ezekiel Nya-Etok said social governance will turn the fortune for the youths. Adding that social governance is incorruptible as political ward will be the center of development. Nya-Etok added that the youths need to be carry along and into office.

Highlight of the event was officially received, presentation of ADC membership card to Arc. Ezekiel Nya-Etok and the commissioning of ADC state secretariat at 6 Bassey Essau, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.
