SSA Tourism Imaobong Zoe urges BRACED to impact on youths

The Senior Special Assistant on Tourism (Hotels), Mrs Imaobong Zoe has called the newly inaugurated executives of Bayelsa, Rivers , Akwa Ibom , Cross River, Edo and Delta State, BRACED Tourism Promotion and Development Initiative, BTPDI, Executive Council to impact on youths through Tourism potentials.
Zoe gave this assertion on thursday while presenting her goodwill message to the BTPDI inauguration in Uyo at Ibom Icon Hotels and Gulf Resort.
According to her "The youth should embrace tourism, there is beauty and peace in it. To BTPDI Executive Council. Am very pleased to see a team of women executives in BTPDI, it means women are coming into Tourism. My advised is that, there should introduce Tourism to youths all round the world."
"The youth should be advised on the beauty and peace in Tourism . I, implored them to speak Tourism, preach tourism, live tourism."
"As Senior special Assistant on Tourism, (Hotel). Am in partnership with them and I give them my full support on it, whatever they are doing. I prayed all fall on a positive," Zoe said.

Earlier, the Chairman of the Occasion, Prof. B. Esu, in his keynote address on the role of South South regional tourism destination management organization maintained that South South is the premier of tourism. It played a pivotal role in tourism.
Esu added that tourism eliminated negative perception of tourism and South South mostly Akwa Ibom State is emerging tourism destination.
Speaking further, the Director General/CEO, BTPDI, Mrs Ifiokobong Akan in her acceptance speech said its only vibrant States that will promote eco-friendly and build a tourism model as a reference point for others. Adding that the shade vision of today will be a vibrant reality tomorrow.
"Tourism is a gold mine, Together we stand, together we build. Tourism reside in Niger Delta. Akwa Ibom State live tourism, breath tourism and speak tourism."
On his part, Sir Ini Akpabio affirmed that in BTPDI human capital is imperative to foster financial freedom.
He called on all hands to be on desk for the support of the movement which is geared towards human capacity development.
