2O2O: RUMBLE IN AK PDP CHAIRMANSHIP

Iwok

...FRIDAY IWOK VOWS TO FLOOR UDO EKPENYONG

...FRIDAY IWOK ORS IS A FAILURE ALREADY  - PDP STALWARTS

By Our Reporter
As the battle for the State Chairman of  Peoples Democratic Party, PDP,  State Congress draw nearer, and  top contender for the State Chairmanship seat, and Former Law Maker Representing Abak State Constituency in the Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly, AKHA, Rt. Hon. Friday Iwok has boosted to floor the Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Udo Ekpenyong without a good second and to emerge as next Chairman of the party come 2020 PDP State Congress.

According to an insider in the camp of the former lawmaker who confided to our reporter, said the Iwok boosted that he is more experience and best for the job than other candidates. He  added that all strategy for Iwok to emerge as the successor of Obong Paul Ekpo, the present PDP state chairman of Akwa Ibom State are in top gear.

It was gathered that the parliamentarian is not living any stones unturned as both Prince Ikim, Chairman, Akwa Ibom State Environmental Protection and Waste Management Agency, AKSEPWMA  and the Commissioner of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Udo Ekpenyong will not stop him even though they are anointed by His Excellency Mr. Udom Emmanuel.

One of the allies of Rt. Hon. Friday Iwok who pleaded anonymous told our reporter that he said,  "I am the best man for the State Chairmanship job. No, I said no other person than me Rt. Hon. Friday Iwok, a party man with no mean repute, a grassroot politician and canvasser who empowered many people. A two term member of the AKHA which is very rare in Abak Local Government Area which no has attempted it. Mr. Udo Ekpenyong is political infant and toddler in party party affairs and politics of the PDP. His standing election for the state chairman of PDP is like a little child playing football with an adult. He will be dribble and score as like without touching the football till the referee blow final whistle. The same thing is what will happen during the state congress. My legacies  are enumous, everywhere, you see many mini busses, motorcycles with the name of Rt. Hon. Friday Iwok. Many are making money from the skill the acquired courtesy of myself. Where are Udo Ekpenyong's own or that of Prince Ikim?

"I'm more party man than all those who indicated interest. I have a good track records in the party. If I was robbed of Abak Federal Constituency ticket, they cannot robbed me again. Why will the governor not consider me first?, Iwok inquired.

In a chart with one PDP faithful from Ikot Ekpene Federal Constituency who pleaded anonymous with our reporter said " Rt. Hon. Friday Iwok, Udo Ekpenyong among others who are vying for the State Chairman of PDP are failure already as it is within the heart of Governor
and whosoever he will choose we will follow".
