The Itu Youth Development Forum is made up of youth leaders from all the villages in the eleven wards that makes up Itu Local Government Area. Responding after being conferred with the award, Mr Akan Okon thanked the Itu Youth Development Forum for the honour done him, saying that the government is aware of the roles played by the youths in the state, particularly in maintaining law and order in their various villages by allowing peace to reign. ... Government of Akwa Ibom State sets build seaport The Federal Executive Council has approved the full business case of Ibom Deep seaport at their meeting today. This signals the Federal Government’s approval for  the full commencement of the port. This approval is coming on the heels of the vigorous push by the Udom Emmanuel led administration for the actualization of this long awaited vision.
