Governor's Wife Celebrates Christmas with Homes, Ors !

World over, Christmas is always that time of the year to show love to mankind by offering gifts to those in need. So it was today Wednesday, as Her Excellency, Dr. Mrs. Martha Udom Emmanuel in her motherly disposition reached out to various Homes, Correctional facilities and Hospitals across the state with gift items to ursher in the Yuletide.

In Ikot Ekpene Senatorial district, Her Excellency's team was led by the wife of the Executive Chairman of Ikot Ekpene LGA, Mrs. Esther Uyime, in company of the first ladies of Ini LGA and Essien Udim, Mrs Edith Idiasin and Mrs. Umoh Gabriel Tony respectively.

Amongst the homes visited were: Handmaids of the Holy Child, Ifuho, Ikot Ekpene LGA; Catholic Orphanage Home, Ikpe, Ini LGA; St. Joseph Rehabilitation Centre, Ukana Iba, Essien Udim LGA and Goodnews Gospel Village, Abak LGA.

Other places visit included the Nigerian Correctional Facility, Ikot Ekpene, and Wonderlife Mental Rehabilitation Centre, Ikot Afanga, Oruk Anam LGA.

In Uyo Senatorial district, the team led by Dr. Itoro Etim, visited the Nigerian Correctional Facility, Uyo, Mother Charles Walker Orphanage Home, Anua, Uyo,Global Mission Orphanage, Obio Atai and Lutheran Children's Home, Nsit Ibom.

Eket Senatorial district had Her Excellency's team visiting Nigerian Correctional Facility, Eket, Band of Hope Orphanage, Urua Udo Inyang, Eket, Motherless Children Home, Mkpok, ONNA; Life Bridge Home, Esit Eket; ACAEDF AKA Land of Hope, Ikot Afaha, Eket; and Salvation Army Home, Akai Ubuim.

At each of the places visited, the caregivers expressed appreciation to the mother of the state for her constant love, and prayed God to reward her bountifully.
