In a deliberate move to spotlight indigenous enterprise and encourage homegrown innovation, the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Akwa Ibom State Council, undertook a facility tour of the Erojim Shoe and Garment Factory, a rising name in Nigeria’s creative and manufacturing landscape.
Welcoming the journalists, the General Manager of Erojim Design, Mrs. Lucy Ejelonu, revealed that the company, though just over one year in existence, has carved a niche for itself by prioritising quality, excellence, and professionalism in every stage of production. She described the journey so far as one driven by passion, resilience, and an unwavering belief in Nigerian-made products.
Mrs. Ejelonu stressed that Erojim Design’s vision goes far beyond profit-making, noting that the company is deeply committed to giving back to society. According to her, Erojim Design has donated more than 1,000 pairs of shoes to public schools across Akwa Ibom State through the Ministry of Education, in addition to 500 pairs of shoes presented to Esteem School, Uyo, as part of efforts to support education and improve the welfare of young learners.
