GOVERNOR UDOM EMMANUEL RUNS A TRANSPARENT GOVERNMENT SAYS CHARLES UDOH

The government of Akwa Ibom state is resolute in his promise in running a fair and transparent government. As this is seen in the proactive governance of Mr. Udom Emmanuel, the governor of the state.


As an accountable and transparent leader who is committed in serving his people without bias, Governor Udom has been verified beyond doubt in his publication of the annual state account open to the public for perusal.


According to the Commissioner for information and strategy, Mr Charles Udoh, Akwa Ibom state is the only state in Nigeria that publishes its annual financial statement.

Udoh who made it clear during an interactive session with His strategy team at His Shelter Afrique abode said that Governor Udom Emmanuel is committed to Transparency, Accountability and integrity.


In His words "Do you know that Akwa Ibom State government publishes its Annual Audit Financial Statement? It’s a clear sign of a government that is committed to transparency, accountability and Integrity. Do you know other states in Nigeria that publish its audited financial statement?" He asked.


"The Akwa Ibom state government in many ways have its people at heart by the way of opening up access mediums like the CodeUdom, UdomCare citizen centre, various Radio programs for citizens to interact and get immediate responses from the government via this channels"


Charles Udoh who made this clear said "this act is a clear sign that Governor Udom is committed to transparency, accountability and Integrity"
