FOCUS ON CRITICAL ISSUES LIKE HEALTH AND AGRICULTURE SAYS AKAN OKON

The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner of Economic Development and Ibom Deep Seaport, Mr. Akan Okon, has said that the 2021 Budget should be focused on critical issues like Health and Agriculture to ensure food sufficiency and affordability as well as programmes that will touch the lives of the poor and vulnerable in the society.

Mr. Okon made this emphasy when delegation of the State House of Assembly led by the Clark, Mrs. Mandu Umoren attended the 2021 Capital Budget Bilateral Discussion at the Conference Room of the Economic Development and Ibom Deep Seaport.

The Commissioner added that through it the state will have enough foodstuffs and sound health care service to all Akwa Ibomites.
