OBONG CYRIL UMOREN BLOWS HOT:

                                                            Ibanga

..."PROF ENO IBANGA IS MKPAT ENIN SON AND MUST STAY"

 ...A PROPORTIONATE RESPONSE!

The National Coordinator of People's Democratic Party, PDP Defenders Nigeria, Obong Cyril Umoren, has   reacted to Media trolling of Prof. Eno Ibanga, Commissioner designate from Mkpat   Enin Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State.

Furthermore, Sometime yesterday, a weak write up with above caption: _*" Mkpat Enin boils, as Prof. Eno Ibanga vows
to install all 14 councillors, LG chairman"*_ made rounds and invaded our social media space and was accredited to faceless baby writers and expectedly so! Very normally dignifying this trend of childish Gambino stunts would have been absolutely unnecessary, except it is! For starters, it essential to set certain records straight, then apply some correcting fluid on the age long dubious attitude of mudslinging every leader that emerges through the grace of God almighty, for the blessing Mkpat Enin people.

My intent and purpose in this write up is to be as personal as possible! We are living in times when the season for pulling down leaders through smear campaigns is no longer fashionable.

PROFESSOR ENO JAMES IBANGA is here and is here to stay! A sooner recognition of this fact rather than later will save everybody the time, energy and resources spent on nonsense.

Professor Eno Ibanga has one agenda only! And that is the total and massive empowerment of the people of Mkpat Enin! Simple!!

It is important to note that Mkpat Enin as a local government and as a people are adequately blessed with abundant seasoned leaders from the four clans of Mkpat Enin LGA, but today, Professor Eno James Ibanga joins the league of emerging generational leaders in Nigeria and Akwa Ibom State from Ukpum Minya clan of Mkpat Enin LGA.

For those concocting stories that should have been best left in the gutter chambers of their filthy imagination but instead summoned courage to bring dregs of their dirts to public space should have their last warning here!

Prof Eno Ibanga is in a class of his own. Entirely on his own, he has raised himself, trained himself to being one of the foremost scientist and renowned physicist in the world, with a well rewarded and fulfilled career spanning over thirty years in the academia.

In the period under review he has touched many lives not only in Mkpat Enin but everywhere he finds himself around the world! Till today his scholarship program which has been on for over twenty years is still ongoing! and many Mkpat Enin sons and daughters have been proud beneficiaries. I believe in contemporary times he is the only one in Mkpat Enin with such overwhelming contribution to the educational development of Mkpat Enin people.

It is therefore extremely shocking that at the moment of our greatest joy in Mkpat Enin LGA when all forward thinking names and faces are jubilating and celebrating the magnanimity of his Excellency in recognizing and rewarding hard work, core competence, and efficiency in public office as exemplified by prof. Eno Ibanga's engagement in AKSU, some nonentities and clowns are hiding behind one finger to shamelessly dance naked in the market square!

To associate Professor Eno Ibanga's name with truncating the well structured peace in Mkpat Enin LGA is to say the least very disrespectful and denigrating and represents the exact attitude we all are tired of in Mkpat Enin politics today and are determined to stamp it out completely regardless of whose ox is gored! And at whatever cost!

Henceforth this kind of backward and untoward behaviour will have no place again in the political ecosystem of Mkpat Enin LGA, and going forward,my suggestion would be that anybody who has any axe to grind with Governor Udom Emmanuel's signature, which is what he uses to confirm appointments should take it up with the governor directly and desist from hiding behind faceless and nameless poorly authored articles of hopelessness to incite violence and provoke upheavals in the polity that is currently in a celebration mood, over nothing.

I want to imagine that,Somebody woke up this morning from a wrong side of the bed and called professor Eno Ibanga " *a political neophyte"*.

Whatever that grammar means or is intended to mean is an embarrassing example of a poor mental state of a deranged soul! To desist from showcasing this abysmal level of self degeneration and degradation is required to forestall future mockery and redicule that these clowns and their sponsors have brought to themselves!

In saner climes these set of people who perpetrate and exhibit this kind of flawed behavior would have covered their faces in shame and weep for their future, but here we are facing an ugly situation where a high flying achiever covered with a white linen of excellence is about to be mudslinged by certain rogue agents that resist excellence and progress in the society.

If you must know, from the House of Assembly complex to his residence at Ikot Akpaden Prof. Eno Ibanga sorrounded himself throughout as usual with student leaders from accross the state,  and not with a _skewed session of Mkpat Enin politicians,as you cruelly suggest, (whatever that means in English language!)

Be rest assured that with power, audacity and grace of politics bestowed on him by his boss ,Prof. Eno Ibanga does not need to hold nocturnal meetings to predetermine a political agenda that meets the people's demand! He is not also self acclaimed political leader, he is aware that the political leader of Mkpat Enin LGA is Chief Richard Umoren who is still alive! And professor Eno Ibanga respects him as his father whom he had occasion to work with in the days of NPN even up to the days NRC till now in PDP, so how on earth is a man like Prof. Eno James Ibanga a "political neophyte'.
Again for emphasis Prof Eno Ibanga is not a self acclaimed political leader,he is a leader in his own right, and for the records he is the only commissioner disignate from Mkpat Enin for now! And from Ukpum Minya extraction! And whoever you are , or wherever you are hiding, you will do well to respect that fact!

Finally when next you believe you have an issue you believe has enough grounds worthy of our collective attention, then do well to append your signature for future references!
