When Uyo constituents was empowered by their representative, in Akwa Ibom State House of Assembly (AKHA) they were esteem.


As the people of Uyo Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State yesterday pour encomium on the member, representing Uyo State Constituency, AKHA, Rt. Hon. Monday Eyo aka Murray empowered his people with starter pack like hair dryers, clippers, buses, sewing machines, saloon cars and cash.

Murray is the fifth lawmaker from Uyo LGA. He is the first to empowered his constituency with items worth millions of naira.

Speaking at the event Murray said Legislative performance required experience.

In his words, "we gathered here as a partner. We created a phase of legislative performance and empowerment for developmental strides.


His constituents while fielding questions described the lawmaker as a jinx breaker. The fifth lawmaker in Uyo State Constituency and the first to empowered his people.

He pray for greater heights in his political career and called him to go for second to also empower other people.
