Church of Nigeria Sets For Enthronement

All is now set for the Enthronement of a new Bishop,  Ven. Owen Amos Ukafia  the Bishop elect, Church of Nigeria, the Anglican Communion, Diocese of Uyo.


This was made known through the press release of the Diocesan Media department signed by the Director Media, Rev'd Mossy Agu and the Diocesan Communicator, Ven. Dr. John Uzoma.  


According to the release indicated that the Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion is set for Enthronement of a new Bishop and shall be enthroned on March 23, 2024 at the Cathedral Church of All Saints Uyo.


The statement reads: " Ven. Owen Amos Ukafia who was elected the new Bishop for the diocese of Uyo on the 8th of February 2024, at the Church of Nigeria standing committee held at Ika Diocese in Delta State, presided by the Primate of Nigeria the Most Rev'd Henry Chukwudum Ndukuba. Ven. Owen Amos Ukafia would be consecrated on the 19th of March as the fourth Bishop of the Diocese of Uyo and shall be enthroned on the 23rd of March 2024 at the Cathedral Church of All Saints Uyo".


The Episcopate of Bishop Owen Ukafia would be a great memory to ignite fresh bonding of the Holy Spirit with united and unique experiences for the faithful people of God in Uyo and beyond. 


To this end, the church is amicably looking forward with optimism to seeing all and sundry, men of God, women and children, the youths and dignitaries from different parts of the world to be part of this divine celebration.
