REP UKPONG-UDO PROVIDES FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR CONSTITUENT'S TREATMENT

The Member representing Ikono-Ini Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ukpong-Udo has again offered financial support for the treatment of one of his constituents, Mrs. Ime Emmanuel Udo, an indigene of Mbiafun Ikot Abasi Village in Ini Local Government Area.

Mrs Udo had been struggling with a medical condition which hindered her daily activities and so required urgent treatment but the financial implications for the treatment posed a significant challenge.

In his continued bid to develop the entrepreneurial landscape of his constituency by empowering his constituents, the Member representing Ikono-Ini Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Ukpong-udo (PhD) has provided a business grant for Mr Victor Effiong Akpan, an indigene of Ibiaku Ntok Okpo in Ikono Local Government Area.

Engr Donald Bassey, Legislative Aide to Rep. Ukpong-udo, made the presentation of a cheque of Two Million Naira (N2,000,000) on behalf of the Lawmaker to Mr Akpan, who becomes the latest member of the 'Macaire Enterprise Development Scheme' (MEDS), an entrepreneurship promotion initiative intended to raise millionaires amongst the citizenry.

Rep. Ukpong-Udo responded in his magnanimity, by extending a helping hand to ensure that his constituent received the necessary medical care at the Hospital. He made available financial support which was presented by his Legislative Aide, Engr Donald Bassey during the week.
