Akwa Ibom State scores another first among the states of the Nigerian Federation. In the current rating of high cost of living by the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics, the state came tops with 38.6 per cent, followed by Bauchi with 32.2 per cent. It will be recalled that the state is currently rated the highest in HIV prevalence in the country.
