Expose: S'South PDP Govs behind Akpabio's travel

By Our reporter
The latest version of Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District seat election travel plans against Sen. Godswill Akpabio, former Senate minority leader has been exposed. The travel came far back August 8, 2018 when he moved to the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC.

The PDP stakeholders from South South extraction are not happy with Akpabio working with the Apc, and they are seriously considering the downfall of Sen. Godswill Akpabio.

According to an insider, who pleaded anonymous, said "why would Sen. Akpabio's defect to APC? His defection is a big loose to PDP and the party is yet to recover. Since Akpabio's defection is a setback to PDP, we must also sponsor setback to his Senatorial seat election.

Livenewsguns can authoritatively said that South South PDP governors have planned everything humanly possible to stop Sen. Godswill Akpabio victory at the just concluded Senatorial District election.

It is true that, following the court order to bar Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC from issuing certificate of return to Dr. Chris Ekpenyong, aka Ukarapa, Akwa Ibom State Governor Mr. Udom Emmanuel is doing everything within his reach to avert the court order.

It could be recalled that during the time Sen. Akpabio was in PDP many national figures who was in other political parties had to move to PDP hoping that Sen. Akpabio would strategize for emergence of PDP to seize power at the national level and the other states of the federation. During the factional tussle it was Akpabio who scheme out for PDP to be strong enough to file a presidential candidate.
