2019 Guber: Eket Senatorial District Defend Gov Udom now say Hon Umoren

The chairman of PDP Defenders, Akwa Ibom State, Hon. Cyril Umoren, has urged the good people of Eket Senatorial District to rise and defend their son, Governor Udom Emmanuel.

He made the call while declaring open the monthly Exco meeting of PDP Defenders on Monday in Uyo.

In his word, "the political destiny of Governor Emmanuel lie in their hands and as such, should not be left to be determined by other Senatorial Districts.

Umoren who was a Chairmanship aspirant in last month's Local Government elections in the State also made a passionate appeal to all political groups in the Senatorial District to close their ranks and work as they are the pillar and foundation upon which Udom's second term election will rest on.

He stated that with the industrialization drive of Governor google.comUdom Emmanuel, towards making Ibom Deep Sea Port a reality, Akwa Ibom state will dominate the gulf of Guinea and the economy of the state will automatically improve.

He also condemned the idea of opposition parties misinterpreting the Senate Minority Leader, Sen. Godswill Akpabio's statement, thereby trying to create something out of nothing.
