NDDC take education of our children serious says NDDC Boss

The Managing Director, Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC) Mr. Nsima Ekere has said that NDDC take the education of the children in the region serious.
He gave this assertion today in Uyo during the flagoff 72,000 chairs and 72,000 desk to the Niger Delta states.
Mr. Ekere reiterated that a well educated child is a security and asset to the region.
In his words, ''children learn under trees, licking roofs and dusty floors. It is not good for our children to learn in such environment.
"NDDC in conjunction with Akwa Ibom State Government, through the Ministry of Education will distribute 9000 Chairs and 9000 desks to schools in the state," he stressed.
He maintained that the Board is still considering scholarship intervention for undergraduate while Masters (MSc or MBA and PhD) is about to be launch.
Mr. Nsima Ekere assured that more contract will be given by the board primarily to make life better.
