Godswill Akpabio is testing the confidence of Akwa Ibom people to see if they accepted Governor Udom Emmanuel ahead of the 2019 election.

He made this assertion last weekend in Ikot Udo Imeh, Nsit Ubum Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state.

According to Rt. Hon. Akpabio said "a lot of critics are there, I know that there is no government without critics. He has never accused anybody whether you are talking bad or good things about him, he does not response. I can assured you that Governor Udom has never used the state fund to bring up industries.

"He has a wider connection internationally which will attract more and more industries to the state. I know anybody that come to this world to do any better thing people don't like him. I pray that he should not be disturbed but do whatever he wish to do for the state", he stressed.

He maintained that what is happening between Sen. Akpabio and Gov. Udom is that he cannot do without Gov. Udom. He is only joking with them forget about what they are saying.

"Sen. Akpabio cannot do anything bad to  Governor Udom because he knows he is sucessor and inlaw and if he may fail him wwhich is not possible
