AUTOMATIC TICKET FOR SERVING NASS MEMBERS OF PDP

The elected members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP ) in the two chambers of the National Assembly have the first right of refusal in their quest to seek re-election. And this is official.

Disclosing this at a meeting with members of the party in the National Assembly on Wednesday the National Chairman of the party, Prince Uche Secondus told the members that they have the first right of refusal except where they decide not to seek re-election.

The meeting, held at one of the meeting rooms of the House of Representatives was attended by members elected on the platform of the party.

The 1999 Constitution as amended does not specify term limits for Senators and Members of the House of Representatives as they can contest as many times as possible
