By Joseph ATHANASIUS

The Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Works, Akparawa Ephraim Inyangeyen, recently received the National Association of Nigerian Female Students PERFECTIONIST AND PERFORMER AWARD, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the realization of the Akwa Ibom project, which have helped repositioned the state under Governor Udom Emmanuel watch.

Presenting the distinctive Award to the Honourable Commissioner for Works, the student's body has rightly said that, having evaluated the performance of Commissioner Inyangeyen under the Governor Udom Emmanuel's administration, they have decided to honour the public-spirited leader, Akparawa Ephraim Inyangeyen with PERFECTIONIST AND PERFORMER AWARD.

The group said that, the state Ministry of Works, under Inyangeyen's watch has helped to inject a new lease of life into the system, observing that, this has been achievable as a result of a combination of patriotic zeal, brilliance and integrity on the part of Commissioner Inyangeyen.

They reasoned that, if politicians and those in the position of authority in the country can strive to make positive impact, as did by Commissioner Inyangeyen, who is more purpose-driven politician, then Nigeria would have fare better.

Receiving the AWARD, Commissioner Inyangeyen thanked the student's body for recognizing his contributions so far to the development of Akwa Ibom state. He said that Nigerian politicians can build a country of their dream with more committed and dedicated leaders, who will love to play their role effectively, and lauded the initiative of the student's body to honour him. The Commissioner for Works, Akparawa Ephraim Inyangeyen has however, pledged to continue to support the group.
