Open letter to my dear Sister, Akwa Ibom First Lady,Mrs Martha Udom Emmanuel.

Greetings Mummy and the Eka Unwana Akwa Ibom, I wish you a SMASHING 2018th birthday which you celebrated about 48hours ago. Pardon me for making this open, but I have thought of any other means I can reach out to you,but none could be realistic as I planned, but pardon me.I know many will be angry with me for saying this but I have to for posterity and as a believer of this common adage that says ''If you speak the truth, you die,you lie, you die, let's speak the truth and die''.Permit me to speak the truth and die My dear mother.

First, let me onbehalf of my staffers at Herald Media World,a private media outfit in your home State of Akwa Ibom, wish you a super belated birthday and we as a family pray for God to bless and keep you for us and our dear State Jak AWASI ade Nchong idem afo.

You assumed office on the 29th of May,2015 as the First Lady of Akwa Ibom State and let me put it on record that the news of your origin which is my own Local Government Area came as a good news to myself and some other well meaning sons and daughters of your primary constituency which we took the streets that indeed God has come to bless us abundantly, I can remember countless times how I have boasted to my friends outside Akwa Ibom that it is not easy to have a sister as a first lady and a beautiful one at that, even to Akwa Ibomites, how lucky I am to have the first lady of Akwa Ibom, the joy was indeed overwhelming. It took us something to mobilize supprt for you even in the State,I can remember vividly how I did broadcast a program,In-laws of Udom Emmanuel on my Tv program which today no one cares to ask where it is,I dedicated it to you and I ran the documentary all for the sake of our root,I did this for the happiness i had for you.Afterward i personally sponsored a Think RIGHT message which enumerated why Akwa Ibom people should vote for Mr Udom Emmanuel with the mindset that,Ke Ukod isi bene ke ekpad a job ino ukod atie.Yes that informatial was sponsored by myself to ensure victory for our government. I singlehandedly produced a documentary highlighting the profile of the Governor, your husband,I was the first to do this in the State and without a penny when he was the Secretary to the State Government, this nearly caused me my airtime which I ran at a lost for over 10 episodes of the program, many believed that as the inlaw I claimed, that I ate a lot and our government gave me something, but I can sincrely tell you that I got no penny from our government and up on till today, nothing, I mean nothing but I believe that the patient dog eats the fatest bone.

Your Excellency, we are not many in this State that would have done that, but I did it,I wish to draw your attention to some mishappenings in the society today and in our dear State, one of the things that makes me to feel bad sometime is the way we took the government as our own but today things are not getting better.I don't want to be placed on a monthly stipend to earn money from the government, no,all I ask is that recognition and support, of course I will continue asking for this twenty five hours throughout my life because I deserve it,for a young man of my age to be able to manage over 10 staffers,it is not easy,I take care of them without any supprt from anywhere. Let me not go into how I run my programs on Tv and Radio which is operated on a Private arrangement, needless bringing up my online Tv which went well if not for lack of finances to round off the whole concept. Things like this makes me to ask,if this is truly the Government we worked for before emergence as an inlaw,if this is the same government that staffers of Herald Media World worked for,it's indeed pathetic.

Your Excellency, please come back home and check your brothers and sisters for we need you as our mother and dear Sister. We have what it takes to make it to an Eldorado but when we don't have the back up,it's almost fruitless. In my little way I have supported the government, but I ask,has the Government supported us?

I remain your loyal brother in service and my name is Abasiama Etukakpan.

See you at the top,Eka Unwana Akwa Ibom!
