The concern of this review is not the aesthetics of the document, much as  it is so visually pleasing; nor is the immediate focus its internal coherence, its architectonics, even though it is a most finely wrought tapestry of commonsense, wisdom, patriotism, practical ideas and passion for honest and lasting development. The report as published in the annual appraisal of the scheme by its organizers in November, indicates that eighteen of the scholars graduated with second class upper degrees, while four obtained second class lower degrees. Four of the scholars also completed their medical programs, while three were recently inducted as Pharmacist by the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria. The Gubernatorial Candidate of the All Progressives' Congress (APC), Obong Nsima Ekere, has commended the Methodist Church Nigeria (MCN) for focusing on the propagation of the gospel of Jesus Christ and shunning the temptation to politicise the church. Speaking during the closing of the Annual Convention of the Methodist Diocese of Uyo held at Immanuel Methodist Cathedral, Itiam Etoi, Uyo, he lauded the leaders of the church for sticking to the Methodist spirit of non-partisanship unlike some church leaders in Uyo who had deviated from preaching the gospel to play politics. The United States Embassy in Nigeria has pointed out that corruption is not limited to diversion of funds but includes a wide  range of other infractions, among which is nepotism. In a Facebook post it made on Friday, the US Embassy noted that instances where public funds were diverted to personal accounts and where a public officer unfairly gives jobs to relatives were tantamount to corruption. Furthermore, instances of police officers demanding for a tip before granting passage to vehicles and where companies scheme to put their competitors out of business through corporate espionage and bribery were classified as corruption. The US Embassy’s descriptions on corruption did set the tone for Nigerians who commented on the post with their own experiences of corruption in the country. Forgery case: Court keeps Innoson CEO waiting  Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday fixed Jan. 29, 2019, to hear a motion seeking bench warrant against the Chief Executive Officer of Innoson Nig. Ltd., Innocent Chukwuma, and others charged with forgery. The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that the Federal Government, through the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation had filed a four-count charge of forgery against the accused in charge number FH/L/565C/1. The accused are: Innoson Nig. Ltd., Innocent Chukwuma, Charles Chukwu, Maximian Chukwura, Mitsui Osk Lines ‘C’ and Anajekwu Sunny. They are alleged to have conspired to commit offences on Oct. 10, 2013, at Apapa, Lagos.
