2019 : A'IBOM PDP CHAIR OBONG PAUL EKPO URGES NIGERIANS TO BE PEACEFUL

New Year Message

Welcome to 2019:The year of God’s glory and power

It is with great pleasure that I welcome all Akwa Ibom people to the year 2019. This year as we already know, will host the elections into different offices within the land in our country.

As we march courageously into this year which is filled with unlimited blessings, I join my faith with that of Governor Udom Emmanuel and government of our dear state to announce that this year will be a year of the manifestation of God’s glory and power. Only God will manifest his unlimited powers upon the affairs of our state and concomitantly exact the glory due him from us.

As a political party, we have rededicated ourselves to God and have invited him to rule and reign over our affairs. We will go to battle in HIS name and we know that victory will accompany us home.

We encourage our supporters to conduct all campaigns rallies, meetings and all other party functions under an atmosphere of decorum and peace. Even in the face of unwarranted provocation, we must act like true Christians by allowing vengeance to God. We must not reply war with war, but do all we can to live peaceably with all men.

I on behalf of the leadership and membership of our party in Akwa Ibom State congratulate all of us for making it to this new year.

Happy new year, Akwa Ibom people.

P D P - Power to the People
P D & P-  The Difference is clear

Signed:

Obong Paul Ekpo
