Uwemedimo Umanah's Tantrums Against Sen Akpabio: Rantings of a Defeated Man

Uwemedimo Umanah's Tantrums Against Sen Akpabio: Rantings of a Defeated Man

Of recent, especially as the defeat of Aniekan Umanah in the forthcoming elections become imminent, one Uwemedimo Umanah, a sibling of the former, has suddenly become a public nuisance.  A cursory perusal of Uwemedimo Umanah's timeline shows expressions of a man under chronic mental captivity.
By dint of Senator God will Akpabio's benevolence, Aniekan Umanah was appointed Commissioner for Information in Akwa Ibom State. After Chief Akpabio's first term as Governor of Akwa Ibom State, the latter re-appointed Aniekan as the selfsame commissioner. This second appointment, like the first, was as a result of Chief Akpabio's human development idea. Consequently, Aniekan Umanah had served under the sterling leadership of Chief Godswill Akpabio for eight interrupted years.
This magnimity did not stop there. Chief Godswill Akpabio singlehandedly recommended for, and made sure Aniekan Umanah continued to serve as, Commismer for Imformation under the present government before he was relieved of  his appointment by Governor Udom Emmanuel.
During the above period under review, Uwemedimo Umanah could not but basked in the afterglow of his brother's glory. It is on record that during Akpabio's time as governor, Uwemedimo enjoyed the dividends of that government more than most of his comporaries from Abak Federal Constituency. Without mincing words, Uwemedimo was appointed not only a Media Aide to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State during the period under consideration but he is currently serving as Special Assistant to the present Governnor of Akwa Ibom State, a pedestal which he has been opportuned to climb through Senator Akpabio's goodness for his brother.
Aniekan Umanah, though contesting for the seat of Member, Abak Federal Constituency, is hitting a brick wall due to his unpopularity with his people. Despite Senator Akpabio's efforts in making something out of Aniekan Umanah, Aniekan has perpertually refused to touch lives. His selfishness towards, and dislike for, the media community when he held sway as Commissioner for Information was repugnant, so much so that he was nicknamed "ubok okpo." Having been reputed for this social malady, which has had a serial effect on his waning personality, Aniekan's ambition has been widely rejected by the people of Abak Federal Constituency.
Meanwhile, instead of drowning alone in the forth coming elections, Aniekan Umanah has employed the despicable services of his brother, Uwemedimo to throw his tantrums on Senator Akpabio, a man whose wings he used to fly and become a three-term commissioner. Neither Aniekan nor Uwemedimo has the moral justification for attacking a man whom God used to make them what they are today.
With all these sponsored tantrums thrown by Uwemedim on the Senator, will they stop what will be from being? Will they stop people's rejection of Aniekan Umanah by his people? These tantrums are only a ranting of an ant, and cannot change things. Whom God has blessed, no man can curse.
