Previously we can't forget the APC maga flag off rally for the flag bearers ranging from the governorship candidate Obong Nsima Ekere, the senators,house of representative members and the state house of assembly members in Akwa Ibom State which was organised under the auspices of the APC in the state in Uyo township stadium.This event saw million of supporters coming out in numbers to pledge their loyalty to the APC family at large.
On the said event,the national APC Chairman Comrade Adam oshiomhole, alongside other executive officers of the party,south south coordinator of the Buhari campaign organization, Senate Godswill Akpabio CON,Governor of Edo state Godwin obaseki and other big guns of the party were present to witness "the once in a life time" ceremony.
It was pertinent to see Hon.Michael Effiong Ntuen the former supervisory councillor in Essien Udim LGA who is the patron of the group guided the Actualization movements ukana to the fascinating outing on the days event.
Meanwhile, yesterday on an interview with the Consolidation media team at the ward center okop akama, ukana west ward 2 Essien Udim LGA, the leader of the Actualization movement ukana west 2, Mr Iberedem Ime Inyang, said that the solidarity show was embarked upon to reaffirm the commitments of Sen.Akpabio led consolidations 2019 team to the victory of the APC in 2019 elections at all levels in the state and south south at large.
Mr victor Ukpong, who is the vice chairman of the Apc in Ukana west 2 as well is a committed trustee of the group,in his own speech,he said that it was also important to emphasise that the APC family had truly accepted the choice of the flag bearing candidates , adding that any contrary information was a hoax.
”We are here in APC because a lot of PDP people lately thinks that we are jokers,and i want to use this opportunity to say,from President Buhari,Obong Nsima Ekere,Sen.Godswill Akpabio, Rt.Hon.Emmanuel Akpan to Rt.Hon.Nse Ntuen are all reelected by the grace of God in the upcoming 2019 polls.
We need to let the whole world know that"
”His Excellency, Sen Godswill Akpabio CON, is God sent,he is a man of God; he is a man who believes that the party is supreme; he is a man who has accepted the choice and the position of the party at all level.
”He has accepted that Obong Nsima Ekere is the governorship candidate of our great party in the State,and he has equally been mobilising not just people of Akwa Ibom State but he has been mobilising the party to ensure victory in the country come 2019,” he said.
Speaking specifically on the alleged declaration of support for the opposition party by some supporters of the group, Mr. Godwin Cosmos Udom an elder in the group said,that there is no course for alarm though the rally was planned long before this moments, nonetheless there was no truth in the said rumor."It was gratifying to stick to the APC "he said.
He also said that the Senator Akpabio that he knows, is a loyal party man, and would not do anything to “rock the boat.” as the group pledges continues support for the statesman with the slogan " let the light shine"
”We are here to let Ukana ,Essien Udim and Akwa Ibomites to know that actualizing the APC dream in Akwa Ibom State was a done deal"he ended.
Responding with encomium was The APC Flag bearer for Essien Udim State Constituency Rt.Hon.Nse Ntuen, represented by his brother Hon.Michael Effiong Ntuen, who commended the entered supporters for showing commitment to the party, saying that the rally was a demonstration of loyalty to the party. He further stressed that the APC family will stop at nothing to carry every one along.he ended.
The day ended with joy while the actualization movement Ukana west 2, gears up to the next slated event as the Essien Udim people will received the APC and Obong Nsima Ekere campaign organization on February 2nd,2019.
