Okobo roots for Buhari, Ekere ors






On 4th January 2019, the people of Okobo came out in their thousands at the village square - Afaha Akai to pledged their loyalty and support for President Muhamadu Buhari and Obong Nsima Ekere as President and Governor in the forthcoming elections.

Hon. Effiong Asanwana, an APC Chieftain and former State Constituency Aspirant pledged his undiluted loyalty and support for all APC from State House of Assembly, Federal House of Assembly to the Senate, Governorship and Presidential Candidates in the 2019 elections.

 In her remarks at the occasion,  Obonganwan Geraldine Etuk( State Woman Leader)  and a strong advocate for women assured the women that HE Mrs Ese Ekere Wife of the APC Governorship Candidate, will use her good office to impart on their lives and carry them along for a better Akwa Ibom when voted into power.

Speakers at the event lauded the good works of the Buhari/Osibanjo led govt and asked the people to come out and support their second term bid and ensure they are voted back into office.
They also stressed the need for Okobo people to also support the candidate of the All Progressives Congress APC Guber Candidate in the March 3rd elections, HE Obong (Dr) Nsima Ekere

All the APC stakeholders within the Federal Constituency were present to register their solidarity and support. Amongst whom were : Engr.
