Breaking........

...The governor Akwa Ibom  people must reject and will not vote for in March 2O19.

By Alhaji Aminu

Akwa Ibom people have learnt their lessons over the years. They have exercised enough patience for over three and a half years expecting sudden changes in accordance with electoral promises made by a christian  deacon  called governor Udom Emmanuel since 2O15...till date. Sadly the people have rather been confronted with fallacious tales, and baseless  excuses.

Instructively, there is an  ecclesiastical verdict which posits that  there is a time and purpose for everything  on earth. A time to laugh, a time to cry . A time to accept and a time to reject. A time to endure and a time to object. A time to be happy and a time to be sad. A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather them together .etc.

This philosophical submission has critical implications in the prevailing  circumstances of our state. This is a time for Akwa Ibom people to take a firm decision over their destiny.

This is the time to reject a governor that engages in wanton ground breakings across the state  for three and a half years , without actualizing the purpose of the ground breaking  This is the time to reject a governor who deceives the people that he has built industries all over  Akwa Ibom state , where as it is false .

Akwa Ibom must reject a governor who deceived the people that he has built a  fertilizer blending plant at Abak, whereas farmers in the area and the state are still crying in search for fertilizer during farming seasons because there is no fertilizer plant in the state.

Akwa Ibom people must reject a governor  who lied that he has built rice processing mill at Ini local government area, where as rice is brought in from northern states only to be bagged at Ini secretly. The villagers confessed that rice is not processed but bagged.

Akwa Ibom people must reject a governor who received the state that he was going to build an automobile assembly company in Itu local government area after ground breaking since  2O15 , till date nothing is done. Akwa Ibom people must reject a governor who deceived the people that he was going to build an AIT Daar Communications radio/TV stations at Abak LGA, since 2O15 till date nothing is done. Akwa Ibom people must reject a governor who deceived the people that he has built coconut refining company at mkpatenin whereas its false.

Akwa Ibom people must reject a governor who deceived the people that he has constructed over one thousand seven hundred kilometers of road across Akwa Ibom State, whereas it is false..

Akwa Ibom people must reject a governor who deceived the people that there was no money to pay pensioners their
entitlements until some of them passed on after serving the state for over thirty five years meritoriously.

Akwa Ibom students must reject a governor who deceived the students that there is no money to pay students bursaries, yet he spends millions of naira for people to gather at various constituencies to endorse him for a second term. Akwa Ibom people must reject a governor who deceived the people that there was no money to empower people on inter ministerial jobs as was done by the past administration, but he now pay out millions of naira to induce the sudden mobilization of groups and various constituencies for his second term endorsement.

Yet this governor goes about shouting ONLY GOD.......ONLY GOD. Is he not mocking God after deceiving people of Akwa Ibom State ?

Enough is enough. This is the time to reject a governor who takes pride in deceiving his people throughout his first term of inept governance. We don't need a prophetic announcement to inform us that he has no business with second term.

This is the governor that Akwa Ibom NEED NOT from May 29th, 2O19.
