APC CAMPAIGN STUDENTS AFFAIRS COMMITTEE HITS SOUTHERN URUAN WARD 4 ON UNIT-TO-UNIT VOTERS EDUCATION



The students affairs committee of APC campaign stormed Southern Uruan Ward four yesterday on a sensitisation/awareness campaign ahead of the February 16th and March 2nd elections respectively.

 The deputy Chairman of the committee, Comrade Unyime Jonah, and other members of the team on the visit included Mrs. Emem Umana, the Secretary of the committee, Comrade Koko Bassey, member, Comrade Okon Primus, member and Miss Ekemini Sunday, member.

Jonah, in his address, argued that nobody has the monopoly of intimidation on any voter during and after the election.

He went further to encourage the youths, students and women of the area to go out in their numbers on the election days to cast their vote for all APC candidates.

He spoke on the programmes of President Muhammadu Buhari including the N-Power   where Over 30,000 Akwa Ibom youths are beneficiaries.

He commended the APC Governorship candidate, Obong Nsima Ekere, for promising to increase student bursaries from N5,000 to N25,000 and called on all students to vote for all APC candidates in the elections in appreciation.

He also expressed delight that one of the core pillars of change in Obong Ekere's blueprint is job creation and entrepreneurial development that will guarantee a better future for the teeming youths.

Jonah expressed optimism in the capacity of Obong Ekere to deliver to the students and Akwa Ibom people if elected Governor come March, 2nd 2019, noting that his track records as NDDC boss in the last two years speak volume of his leadership charisma and credibility.

He also emphasised on zoning in Uyo senatorial district for fairness, equity and peace in the zone and for the overall interest of all, canvassing support for the APC Senate candidate,  Rt. Hon. Bassey Etim, because of zoning.

He concluded with a charge for Akwa Ibomites to rise and realise the Akwa Ibom of their dreams and that of the founding fathers.
