Assembly of APC Group Heads is fake, Eyibio

...DISCLAIMER

THE ATTENTION of the Akwa Ibom State APC Campaign Organisation has been drawn to a purported meeting by a group that calls itself “Assembly of APC Group Heads”. We state that such a group does not exist in the campaign structure of the APC in the state, and therefore, does not in any way, have any bearing whatsoever to the All Progressives Congress and its governorship candidate and other candidates of the party.

WE are aware that the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), has been selling such dummy and mis-information, alleging a protest by 3000 Support groups of the party. We state unequivocally, that the All Progressives Congress Campaign Organisation has about 700 well documented, well structured groups, with identifiable membership, who are partnering with the party to ensure an overwhelming victory for the APC and all its candidates in the forthcoming elections.

Our support groups are well organized, disciplined and loyal to the course of dethroning the inept government of Gov. Udom Emmanuel. The APC Campaign support groups are part and parcel of the campaign council’s engagements, and no discontent has been reported anywhere.

We, therefore, urge all members of our great party to ignore any meeting of any Assembly of groups as they did not emanate from the party’s Campaign Council or any of the structures of the party. The purported meeting may likely be another distraction and gimmick by the sinking PDP government in the state to deceive the unwary public. Our Support Groups should rather concentrate on mobilizing their members and all Akwa Ibom people for the task of replacing the PDP and its failed government, with a progressive and people-centered government led by Obong Nsima Ekere.
