IKONO PDP CHAPTER CHAIRMAN'S BIRTHDAY TURNED INTO EMPOWERMENT

Its was a remarkable day for the people of Ikono LGA  yesterday as  Obong Barr Moses Akpan  , the PDP Chapter Chairman Ikono turned  his birthday celebration into an empowerment for his constituents at his country home, Mbiaobong Ikon 1, ward 3, Ikono LGA

The Chapter Chairman used the opportunity to appreciate Ikono people for supporting the People's Democratic Party (PDP) and  for knowing the truth and also standing by it.

He added " today I am here to tell God thank you  because I am in my father land called Ikono. I call you all to join me thank my God because today I have added another year to my life. We are here because of God's grace , so nobody should boast of anything.

So many of you will go home today happily  because Governor Udom Emmanuel has done exceedingly well for the state. He is our in-law, so we have to be careful. It is our duties to return Udom Emmanuel come 2019 to the Hilltop mansion to continue his good works".

Others stakeholders who attended the events also gave their goodwill messages.

Rev. Owen Ukafia enthrones Bishop of Uyo Cathedral By IFIOKABASI ABIA It was a moment of glamour and fanfare amid pump and pageantry as Rt. Rev. Owen Amos Ukafia was enthroned to administer and discharge service to the people of God, as the fourth Bishop of Uyo Diocese, Cathedral of All Saints.
