Ukarakpa, Monty Fight Dirty Over N100m Campaign Funds

...I bought the form for Ukarakpa, says Monty

By Ekpedeme Udobot
The People Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Akwa Ibom North West Senatorial District, Dr. Chris Ekpenyong and the state Commissioner for Youths and Sport, Mr. Monday Ebong Uko, have locked horns over N100m released by Governor Udom Emmuanuel to kickstart campaigns.

The money meant for the Campaign Council is said to be diverted by the commissioner (Monty) for his personal use in the disguise of empowerment.

Livenewsguns, however, gathered that Ekpenyong (Ukarakpa) is seriously furious with the commissioner for working against the success of his campaign, even after knowing that campaigning in the 10 local government areas of the senatorial district is not a walk in the park.

According to a reliable source who pleaded anonymity,  Monty prevailed on the governor to give Ukarakpa's campaign funds through him (Monty).

"Recall that he (Monty) bought the normination and expression of interest forms for him (Ukarakpa) and naturay believes that the campaign funds should be given to him to give Ukarakpa," our source added.

The visibly betrayed and disappointed Ukarakpa may throw in the towel before the elections if nothing is done to address the issue.

However, Udom Emmanuel has stepped in to ensure that the duo  sheath their swords but unite in one purpose of over-throwing Senator Godswill Akpabio.
