A'Ibom fetes Attah at 80

Today marks the 80th Birthday of the father of Modern Day Akwa Ibom, Arch.(Obong) Victor Attah

A patriot, astute technocrat, quintessential gentleman and true Statesman.

A thorough look at him and Governor Udom Emmanuel reveals some striking similarities worth considering.

Both are consummate professionals who had meritoriously reached the peak of their career, very visionary, futuristic and peace loving.

Both are very learned, exposed and investment conscious hence everything they set out to do is deliberate and well articulated.

Both are selfless leaders truly committed to the cause of the Akwa Ibom Renaissance.

Both have clean records of integrity, transparency and accountability. And both are hugely respected by the central government because of the value they bring to the table.

Attah fought and laid the foundation for the wealthy and prosperous Akwa Ibom of today. Udom is laying a foundation for the industrialised, economically independent and robust Akwa Ibom of the future.

In Attah's government, Akwa Ibomites lived in peace. In Udom's Government, peace has returned.

At this point, suffice it to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE FATHER OF MODERN AKWA IBOM!!!
