Udom is a conjugate waste of our resources - economic expert
A renounced economic development guru and indigent of Esit Eket Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State Mr. Magnus Akpanudo has described the present administration under the leadership of Gov. Udom Emmanuel as a conjugate waste our resources.
He gave this hint today while fielding questions with the press at Uquo, Esit Eket Local Government Area. Adding that Governor Udom is insensitive to urgent need of the state but politicised every program that would better the lives of the people.
In his words, "where is the consolidation of uncommon transformation he promised to continue? Is it the blackmail by his aides on Sen. Akpabio?. Things are not done that way. As an economist conduct a resesrch to know urgent need, map out strategy to stem down and apply it. Economic development is not a paper cartels but continuous check of inflow of income and how it is utilize to improve living standard.
"Udom is a waster of Akwa Ibom State resources like the just concluded Ekiti, Osun States elections. He pull out huge cash that would, if sincerely capitalize on it multiply the income, create jobs among others. The question is how much will Ekiti and Osun States elections put to our economy and create jobs for our teeming youths.
"In his quest for second term financial mismanagement is physically noticed. The 2018 budget is 670.72bn. last three years how much was proposed, why the increase when there nothing to show. What is the level of implementation of the 2018 budget. No one may say anything today but how about when you are out of the office tomorrow. Akpanudo inquired.
He lamented how he stage manage Obasanjo and Sanusi endorsement of no better prospect, no single vote for him come 2019 poll but so much money has been invested.
Mr. Akpanudo commended Governor Udom's effort in peace in the state but score him low in maintenance of projects like streets light, among others. thanks
