 KIMO: NEW COMMISSIONER OF POLICE


The Akwa Ibom State Police Command wishes to inform the general public that the Inspector General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris NPM, mni, has approved the posting of a new Commissioner of Police to Akwa Ibom State Police Command. He is CP. Musa Kimo PSC. The new CP takes over from CP John Bassey Abang, fdc.

2.  The new Police Boss holds a B.Sc (Hons) Degree in Political Science from the University of Sokoto.

3.  He was appointed into the Nigeria Police Force as a cadet Assistant Superintendent of Police on 1st of February, 1986. He has served in various capacities. Before his present appointment, he was:-
A two time CP, Department of Logistics and Supply, Force Headquarters, Abuja.
CP Federal SARS, Abuja
CP Rivers State Police Command
CP Adamawa State Police Command
CP FCT Police Command
Commandant, Detective College, Enugu
CP Ebonyi State Police Command
4. He has assumed duty as the 25th Commissioner of Police, Akwa Ibom State. He enjoins the peace loving people of Akwa Ibom State to remain law abiding and accord him the needed co-operation to fight crime in the State successfully.
