Akan Okon, Etetim Onuk, Idorenyin Raphael Ors Storms Urua Obo Itam


...Doled Out Money (Grant) To Traders

                   

In his bid to support and encourage local traders in the state, The Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Aviation Development, Hon. Akan Okon presented cash prices to fifty (50) traders in Urua Obo Itam, a famous market in Itu Local Government Area.

According to him, the grant which is not refundable was presented to the traders to add value and boast thier business enterprise which is in line with His Excellency Governor Udom Emmanuel's cardinal points of Poverty Alleviation in the state.

Hon. Akan Okon expressed satisfaction and optimism towards the developmental strides of Governor Udom Emmanuel for using three and half years to develop and restructure Akwa Ibom State with 12 functioning industries and maintaining, sustaining and retaining Peace cum Prosperity in Akwa Ibom State.

Hon. Okon assured the traders that by the 3rd week of December, another set of traders will also benefit from the grant.

Speaking on behalf of the Traders in Akwa Ibom State, The Poinner SA to the Governor on Trade and Market Matters, Akparawa Idorenyin Raphael commended Governor Udom Emmanuel for empowering and supporting the traders in the state.

"I thank all the women for supporting and Honouring His Excellency Governor Udom Emmanuel Udom Emmanuel today. God brought a man of God to rule Akwa Ibom in 2015.

The previous administration  promised Akwa Ibom State 31 industries but none was executed. They used our money to get unmerited awards.

The general public has witnessed the herculean infrastructural development and industrialization in only three and half years which the blind can see " He stated

Akparawa Idorenyin Raphael used the occasion to urge the traders and entire Itu Local Government Area not to be deceived and distracted by the current political development in the area. Akparawa Raphael advised the traders not to sell their voters but keep it serve in order to vote Governor Udom Emmanuel to the Hilltop Mansion pending the 2019 General election in Akwa Ibom State.

The Itu LG Boss Hon. Barr. Etetim Onuk who was represented by his Special Assistant on Trade Elder Godwin Ebong who also harped on the need for The Traders and Itu Local Government Area to support and Vote Governor Udom Emmanuel as Governor of Akwa Ibom State in 2019.
