...NO PLAN TO MOVE AK CP SAYS IGP

Gov. Udom Emmanuel has lost his battle against the Akwa Ibom Commissioner of police, Mr. Musa Kimo, as the IGP, Mr. Ibrahim Idris, has ruled out any plan to redeploy the CP.

He has therefore advised the state government to stop harassing the CP and allow him do his work.
The IGP was responding to a question on the Akwa Ibom State government sponsored protests against the CP.

He expressed confidence in the capacity of the CP to do his job professionally. He dismissed the allegation that the CP is working with the APC allied forces in the state to rig the election in 2019.
