...LEADERSHIP OF NON INDIGENOUS COMMUNITY PLEDGES SUPPORT FOR EMMANUEL'S RE-ELECTION
Leaders of Non Indegenes in Akwa Ibom State to day paid a solidarity visit to the Governor of Akwa Ibom State Mr Udom Emmanuel.
The group which cuts across the various ethnic groups in Nigeria, the Hausa (Arewa Peoples Congress), the Ohaneze Ndi Igbo, the Yoruba Community and the Ijaws declared their total support for the re-election of Mr Udom Emmanuel come 2019.
The forum led by ace broadcaster and Chairman of Actors Guild of Nigeria, Akwa Ibom State Comrade Emmanuel Owuala (Emma Solution) extolled the Governor's strides which includes a peaceful atmosphere in Akwa Ibom, delivering on his major campaign promises, and most especially accommodating the non indegenes in his policies.
The various ethnic leaders jointly condemned the recent seize of the AKHA by the opposition party in the state aided by the security agencies, stating that it was anti democratic for such things to happen to a very peaceful state as Akwa Ibom.
On his part, Governor Udom Emmanuel expressed happiness for the solidarity visit on him noting that the visit has given him strength to continue in delivering more for Akwa Ibomites. Mr Udom Emmanuel further stated that he has an open door policy which carries everyone living in the state along.
The visit had in attendance members of the State Exco, the PDP represented by the secretary of the party, and leaders of the various ethnic groups in the state.
